Our story starts with The END

It all started with mystery
The thrills of solving a puzzle
The excitements of taking on a quest
The voice in my blood that screamed ‘bloody murder’ when I first saw you.
Seated on your white horse, with roses laid at your feet, and maidens kisses on your cheeks.

It grew into pictures, imaginations and endless desires
Your voice on my skin, your kiss on my lips, my heart in your hands
It didn’t take long before my old friend caught me.

I swore I was through,
I was done playing the fallen angel
I was done bringing out a new piece of my soul and giving it to the next human with a sweet smile and a tendency to break hearts
I was done pretending to ignore the wrecking balls swinging dangerously close to my thick walls

Until I met you
The whole world faded into a tear that fell from my eyes as you smiled at me
My fears faded into the softeness of your voice when you spoke to me.
And like the moth is drawn to it’s death, i was pulled into you.
And Maybe, just maybe I can handle another broken heart

Or can I?

Can I pay the price attached to the long bill of love
The price of a million tears
The price of a million years
Can I wait for forever to come before you notice that I have always been the one?
Can I risk it all for us?
An image that isn’t yet pictured?

What light will I find beyond the tunnel?
Where will I find the silver lining?
How long do I wait
For what do I wait?
You are high up in your throne, with maiden kisses at each cheek,
I am strung up on my horse doomed to roam the streets
Do I even have the luxury to wait when my feet dread the ground as water does fire
Do I have to end it at the beginning
Do I have to end at once upon a time?
Do the ever Afters come? And do they come happy?

It started as a mystery
And ended as a memory
For as forbidden fruits are sure to grow on forbidden grounds, I grew this love of mine into exile
Hello old friend, goodbye old friend
Maybe the next prince to come will wake me up with a kiss
Till then, I will wait by the tomb with my pictures, imaginations and endless desires.
